Why We Give
As one of three schools in the Lutheran Education Association of Houston (LEAH), Westlake Lutheran Academy is dedicated to preparing students for TODAY, TOMORROW, and ETERNITY. We are focused on our pillars of Walking with Jesus, Loving Relationships, and Academic Excellence.
The longevity of our ministry platform has always been dependent upon like-minded families who are seeking the best educational experience for their children while cultivating a student's relationship with Christ.
In 1949, the first of LEAH's four schools opened in Houston with 50 students and a tuition cost of $100 per year. Originally, the school was designed to serve Lutheran students from all across Houston. Today, we serve children and families across a spectrum of beliefs, ethnicities, and socio-economic levels who come to our schools across the Houston region for a variety of reasons. Our graduates attend colleges and universities across the United States and are adding value to their communities as Christian leaders. Through outstanding academic programs, in an environment of Christian love and care, the lives of young people are being transformed for service in His kingdom.
Giving allows Westlake to ADVANCE and invest in opportunities that enhance the learning experience of our students. Please prayerfully consider supporting Westlake Lutheran Academy. All gifts to the Advancing Westlake Campaign will be used to support our mission and students.
Thank you for your partnership and support of our students. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference!
